IT'S FINISHED!!

It took me 10 days from the start of my elements creation to finish the more than 30 that i ended up with. I'm really proud of my first Full Sized kit! granted i know i'll look back on it in a few years and be like.. "What was i thinking?" but for now, i'll just be proud of it,and puff out my feathers and celebrate my hard work!!
so here it is.. Classic Hollywood Romance in all it's glory!

Finished!!

It took a whole nother week to finish all the elements for this kit. I'll be posting it soon for y'all to see. I've been studying preview designs and packaging to see what i think best works for me, to make my creations most presentable to you. So it is my hope to have it all up and posted by monday night before i leave for 10 days and i'm off grid as far as design goes. which stinks..but that's the way the cookie crumbles.

Lynn Callister was the lucky lady who'll be getting the full kit first, before i decide if i'm offering it as a freebie or selling it. i've also got another kit in the works, for breast cancer awareness, as i recently found out that my aunt is fighting breast cancer.

if you follow me on FB, you'll see that my hair is actually pink in front. i've stated that my hair will stay that way until my aunt wins her battle.

Ok, didn't make it to round 3..but it's alright. i have much growing to do. entering a contest for next designer during mercury retrograde..well that's just silly, but i gave it my best.
I've got my last entry for the contest ready for you.
It's just a 12 paper kit 12x12 @ 300dpi. Right now, i'm working on fleshing it out with hopefully 25-30 elements. so it'll be a decent sized kit when i'm done.

As I am trying to move forward with my kit making, i'm going to put out a CT call. please be patient with my kit making skills as i'm still pretty new..but i don't scrapbook, so I wouldn't even know how or where to begin with making a LO. Sadness..

Well i didn't make it past round 1. apparently only a handful of people with 5 votes passed on to the next round..a bit unfair in my mind, but it's not my contest. i know that my designs are still rough. i'm still competing in the second chance contest, but just for more practice. if you see my stuff, please don't vote for it. i will now be posting my entries and stuff to my page here and on face book.. so my work will be seen.

Design Contest underway!

So i'm working on my kit! WOO HOO! and as per usual, the elements have stumped me. the papers have come out awesome though. so how about a cheering section and some ideas for my kit eh?? thanks y'all!
